JUNWEX Saint-Petersburg 2011 in numbers:
XIX International Forum of jewellery industry «JUNWEX Saint-Petersburg 2011» can boast record numbers this year. The exhibition took place on the space of 25 000 sq.m, including the area for fashion shows. More than 600 leading Russian and foreign jewellery companies gathered on the largest exhibiting arena of the Northern capital of Russia. There were registered more than 57 000 visitors, among which 17 806 are professional wholesale and retail buyers from all regions of the Russian Federation and different countries of CIS and former Soviet republics.

The number of foreign participants and visitors has significantly increased. Representatives from Spain, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Turkey, UAE, Byelorussia, Poland, Israel, Kazakhstan, Estonia, India, Switzerland,  Moldova, Canada and Ukraine came to get acquainted with the production of Russian jewellery manufacturers and make new business contacts.

Modern technologies for future opportunities
The biggest industry fair of technologies and equipment for jewellery manufacturing, packaging, tying products and security arrangements was held within the frame of «JUNWEX Petersburg». Since 1992 «JUNWEX Tech» had been a part of «JUNWEX Petersburg», but in 2006 it became a separate forum and now occupies a big pavilion.

IN order to promote the exhibitors a “round table” on the problem of competitive advantages of the members of the Jewellery Russia Programme – equipment manufactures and suppliers was held. At the meeting special terms of participation in exhibitions of the Jewellery Russia Programme were discussed, and corporate agreement on promoting industrial jewellery technologies with the support of media-holding RESTEC JUNWEX was made. One of such means will be a special edition of weekly “Jewellery Russia” news issue “JUNWEX Tech”.

From seminar to seminar…
Another session of educational program of the JUNWEX Training Center which took place within the frame of the fair consisted of seminars on financial monitoring, sales increase, personnel professional efficiency and strengthening of safety measures in an outlet. A real treat for the participants was an exclusive excursion to the Treasury of the State Russian Ethnographical museum.

Jewellery Fashion Festival
The festival of jewellery fashion at “JUNWEX Petersburg 2011” was a pilot project which is promising to become a key society event - JUNWEX FASHION WEEK. The focus of the festival program was made on the show of design attires serving as a background for exquisite adornments and accessories. Leading Petersburg modellers and fashion houses  (Ksenia Dekova Dreams, Elena Romanova, Galina Dzhurik and others) captured the hearts of beauty and style admires by their new conceptual collections.
